Proyecto fotográfico en paisaje urbano de Barcelona, para el Posgrado de Fotografía en IDEP Barcelona.
Este proyecto es una representación de cómo vivimos actualmente. Nuestra realidad, vivida a través de una pantalla. Este proyecto habla sobre todas aquellas experiencias que se construyen a partir de nuestros móviles inteligentes pero, más aún, de todas las otras que nos perdemos por vivir tan ciegamente. La forma en la que nos comunicamos está sufriendo una notable transformación y es debido a estos medios electrónicos, como si existiese una barrera que nos aleja cada vez más uno del otro creyendo que ocurre lo contrario.
El título "Vemos pero no Miramos" se centra en la relación del ser humano con el exterior. Se refiere a que solemos percibir lo que ocurre a nuestro alrededor pero no fijamos la vista aplicando nuestra atención.
El sociólogo y filósofo Zygmunt Bauman dijo: "De acuerdo con los últimos estudios, cada persona se pasa 9 horas al día no con otro ser humano, sino en compañía de una pantalla. Por supuesto que esa pantalla también te da placeres de conocer a alguien y antes no existían estas oportunidades, pero ¿son esos encuentros genuinos? ¿o puede ser más bien que el encuentro no inmediato, no habitual, pero sin embargo más profundo, sea algo que hemos perdido?".

This project is a representation of how we currently live. Our reality, experienced through a screen. This project speaks about all those experiences that are built from our smartphones, but even more so, about all the others that we miss by living so blindly. The way we communicate is undergoing a significant transformation, and it is due to these electronic means, as if there were a barrier that increasingly separates us from each other, believing the opposite is happening.
The title "We See but We Do Not Look" focuses on the relationship of the human being with the external world. It refers to the fact that we often perceive what is happening around us but do not focus our attention by truly looking.
